How can I book a motorhome on the Trois Soleils website?
Step 1: Search
Go to our home page or one of our agency pages.
You will find this search bar on which you will have to:
- Choose your departure / return agency (necessarily the same one)
- Choose your rental dates with 2 consecutive clicks on the calendar (one click on the departure date and one on the return date)
- Choose the number of passengers: Adults (aged 12 and over), Children (aged 2 to 11) and Babies (under 2)
- Click on the Search button
Step 2: Choose your vehicle
Once you have completed your search, you will be taken to the search results page, where you will find the vehicles (motorhomes, vans and campervans) available for your criteria (agency, dates, number of passengers).
On this page, you will find for each category of vehicle available, their main characteristics, the prices according to the desired mileage, the number of vehicles remaining and the promotions of the moment (if any) which will be applied automatically.
Click on See the offer to find out more about the vehicle you are interested in.
Step 3: Refine your quotation by choosing your timetable
Once you're on the offer page for the vehicle you've selected, you'll find a wealth of information about it to help you make your choice: photos, main features, vehicle description, technical specifications, sleeping accommodation, equipment, services included and options.
If the model suits you, you can refine your quotation by choosing the departure and return times:
By clicking on the Check price and availability button, the site will display the prices of the various kilometre packages and the number of vehicles available:
To continue, click on the Continue configuration button to return to the start of the booking process.
Step 4: Make your reservation
Step 4.0: Identify yourself
To start the booking process, you need to identify yourself. Either you have already created an account with us and simply log in, or you will need to create an account. This is free, very quick and in no way obliges you to make a reservation later.
You then enter the 5-step booking process detailed below.
Step 4.1: Booking details
At this step, you can configure your booking project by choosing:
- Your mileage package: Flat-rate 150 km/day, Flat-rate 200 km/day, Unlimited mileage package
- Please note The unlimited mileage package will be automatically selected and offered in high season.
- Your destinations
- Please note France is ticked by default and you will need to answer the question Will you be travelling to other European countries?*.
- If you would like one or more additional drivers
- Please note: All drivers must have held a valid B driving licence for at least 36 months.
- If you want additional coverages: Cancellation / Postponement cover and Medium or Premium comprehensive cover.
- Please note: You must choose whether or not to take out Cancellation / Postponement cover, and your choice cannot be changed at a later date.
- If you would like optional services and equipment: Exterior washing, Bike rack, Child seat, Kitchen + crockery kit, Bedset, Snow chains, etc.
The Summary of your booking section (right-hand column on computer, top on mobile) with the price is updated after each of your choices. It will be present at every stage of the booking process. And it's at the bottom of this section, under the total, that you can enter a coupon code if you have one.
Click on the Book now button at the very bottom to move on to the next step.
Step 4.2: Who will drive?
In the Driver(s) step, you enter information about the future driver(s).
Will you be the main driver or not? Will there be additional driver(s)?
All drivers must have held a valid Class B driving license for at least 3 years, so you'll need to tick the box (or boxes if there are several drivers) to move on to the next step.
Step 4.3: Check your reservation
At this Order summary step, you can check your booking. If everything is OK, simply click on the Validate and continue button at the bottom.
Step 4.4: Payment information
At the Payment step, you can choose your payment details.
Firstly, if you are more than 30 days from your departure date, you will have the choice of paying a deposit of 30% or the full amount. If you are less than 30 days away, you will have no choice but to pay the full amount.
Then you can choose your method of payment: Cheque and holiday vouchers up to one month before departure, bank transfer up to 10 days before departure, and Credit card (CB), American Express (Amex) or Chèque-Vacances Connect (CVC) up to the last minute.
Once you have made these choices, you will need to read them and tick the box: "I have read and agree to the Hertz Trois Soleils terms and conditions of rental, privacy policy and cookies management." then click on the Proceed to payment button.
If you have chosen an online payment method (e.g. credit card), you will be redirected to our partner Payzen to ensure 100% secure payment.
Step 4.5: Complete
This brings you to the final step of booking confirmation. You will find your booking number and a link to your personal space where you can find details of your booking. At the same time, you will receive an e-mail with a summary of your booking and the next steps, in particular the sending of your supporting documents.
